Northampton High School

Mrs Sarah Dixon, Headmistress

Northampton High School provides a uniquely stimulating environment where girls enjoy the classroom experience, leading to excellent results and a superb launch to life beyond the school. From the Nursery to the Sixth Form, outstanding success is achieved through a broad and challenging curriculum; exciting lessons take learning to a higher level and close individual attention ensures each girl is encouraged to achieve her full potential.

Girls entering the Junior School are immediately part of a warm and lively community. The atmosphere is caring and supportive with great emphasis placed on developing a strong relationship between parents and the school.

Added to that, in both Junior and Senior School a full range of opportunities beyond the classroom enables the girls to become more than well educated young women, but fully rounded individuals with a wide portfolio of skills, talents and experiences. Creative and performing arts, sports (the 25-acre sports site has an all-weather pitch, dance studio and 25m indoor pool), a plethora of national and overseas visits and many more activities play an important part in a true education.

In our recent ISI inspection we were awarded the highest grade possible across all areas, read our full report here. We have also been visited by the Good Schools Guide who gave us a fantastic review, read the full Junior School review here and Senior School here.

Come and visit us and see all that we can offer your daughter.
