The Royal High School Bath

Part of the historical and beautiful city of Bath, we are the only school within the GDST to offer boarding in addition to day provision and as such, we open our doors and welcome girls from across the world, who come to live, study, have fun, make friends, enjoy life and develop a global perspective in education with us.

We offer an ‘outstanding’ Ofsted rated Nursery; a revitalised Junior School with an inspirational vision; an exceptionally high-achieving Senior School and a dynamic Sixth Form College buzzing with mature, confident, gregarious girls with the choice of studying either the International Baccalaureate or A Levels. Both our Junior and Senior Schools came top in Bath in the 2011-12 Sunday Times Parent Power Guide.

We provide a stimulating learning environment that encourages and supports girls to go ‘beyond education’. Our girls are confident and capable, ready to take risks, be adventurous in their learning and creative in exploring a rich and varied curriculum. Here they are given every opportunity to develop those skills, individually and collaboratively, with a group of like-minded girls. Between the ages of 3-18, we continue to nurture the spirit of openness, curiosity and enquiry that lies at the heart of educating the whole person to achieve their highest personal, social and academic potential. We are committed to achieving a balance between maintaining this enquiring spirit, developing unique talents, focusing on individual care and maintaining excellent academic standards that see our girls outperforming their independent and maintained sector peers at all ages and stages.

We help our girls to become accomplished and resilient with the ability to shape their own futures and live their dreams. You are welcome to make an appointment to visit us at any time.
