Ipswich High School for Girls is delighted to announce an exceptional set of A Level results: the best in the School’s 137 year history.

Ms Elaine Purves, Head, says with two thirds of our entries at A* & A Grade and 20.8% at the new A* Grade, pupils, parents and staff have much to celebrate. We are thrilled that our results have gone from strength to strength. Our A* to B pass rate has topped 88% and our overall pass rate (A-E Grade) remains at 100% - a remarkable achievement.

It is a real reflection of the hard work and determination that the girls have shown throughout their studies, the inspiration given by our teaching staff and support from their parents. We are extremely proud of our students’ achievements and wish them every success for their future.
