The Girls' Day School Trust (GDST) is the largest group of independent schools in the UK, with 4,000 staff and over 20,000 students between the ages of three and 18.
As a charity, we own and run a family of 29 schools in England and Wales, and reinvest all our income into our schools for the benefit of the pupils. We are proud of both our charitable status and record of public benefit.
With a long history of pioneering an innovative education for girls, the GDST now also educates boys aged three to seven in some of its all-through schools.
We also have one co-educational Sixth Form college (and a second is opening in September 2008) and we are developing a selective group of preparatory schools, some of which are co-educational.
