Bromley High School a GDST School

Lorna Duggleby Head TeacherWe are delighted that you have visited our website today and hope that you will find the information you require about Bromley High School.

Our academic results are consistently excellent, not only in our raw scores but also in value added terms. Being a Girls' Day School Trust school means that we are able to draw on educational advice and expertise from excellent professional people, as well as being able to offer additional sporting activities and other competitions running nationally within the Trust. This includes competitions in gymnastics, tennis, netball, hockey, public speaking, travel scholarships, essay writing competitions and so on.

Our aim at Bromley High is to deliver a broad and balanced education whilst providing an amazing range of extra curricular activities. We believe that our students will only do their best if they are happy, busy and enjoying themselves, that is why we offer a wide range of sport, music, drama, dance and many more clubs as well as excellent teaching and support from all our staff. Our pastoral system is renowned for helping to create the positive, friendly atmosphere that is in evidence as soon as one enters the building.

Our very recent (April 2006) ISI Inspection reported very favourably indeed on the school - you can read the Inspectors' Report on the website.

If you would like to know more about us, receive a prospectus or register for admission to the school, information on how to do this is available on the site - but do telephone (020 8468 7981) for further details.

I look forward to hearing from you and meeting you in the near future whether you are interested in the Junior School, the Senior School or the Sixth Form.

Bromley High is an Independent Day School for Girls 4-18 years.
