The opening ceremony and garden party held to mark the launch of the new Howell’s College was a great success. Parents, students, teachers and invited guests enjoyed sunshine, strawberries and bucks fizz as they explored the new college and gardens.

The decision to become co-educational has proved a popular decision with 25 young men joining the college along with several new female students. The Freshers’ Fair was particularly popular with 50 stalls promoting the clubs and activities now available to the college students.

Fantastic news for 2004-2005 Head Girl Khushboo, who was awarded the prestigious Alexander Fleming Academic Scholarship for six years at Imperial College to study medicine. Well done Khushboo and good luck with your studies!

Junior School Improvements  

The girls can step into a whole new world of books, music and ICT at Howell’s Junior School this term, thanks to our stimulating new facilities. From the moment they walk into the vibrant new playground the girls know they are at the start of an exciting educational journey. Every piece of equipment has been chosen carefully to appeal to their senses through imaginative play.
