Senior School (Age 11 – 18)              £2,798 per term
Junior School (Age 4 – 11)                 £2,028 per term
Nursery Class (Age 3 – 4)                  £1,676 per term or £14 per session

Please note that Ipswich High School operates on a three term academic year.

What the Fees cover
Fees cover the regular curriculum, textbooks, stationary and materials, public examination fees, careers guidance, sport, class swimming and personal accident insurance. They do not cover optional extra subjects or school meals.

School meals
A termly charge is added to fees in the Junior Department to cover school lunch (the exact figure will be . In the Senior School a cash cafeteria system operates, and a termly lunch pass can be purchased which entitles the girl to a wide selection from the cafeteria.

Notice

The Trust will give not less than one term’s notice of any increase in the fees. In return, the Trust requires a full term’s notice if parents decide to remove their daughter from the school for any reason, failing which a full term’s fees in lieu of notice will be payable in accordance with the arrangements set out in the agreement between the parents and the Trust.

Payment of fees

All fees must be paid via the bank direct debit system. The fees can be debited on a monthly, termly or an annual basis. For the monthly instalment payment scheme there is a charge of £24 per term. Parents select this payment schedule when completing the direct debit

mandate included with a place acceptance form. The Trust’s regulations relating to fees and notice are set out in the agreement between parents and the Trust and on the fee account.

Registration and Entrance Examinations Fees

A non-returnable fee of £35 is currently charged for taking the Entrance Examination. On acceptance of a place a deposit of £350 is payable which is refunded within 12 weeks of the pupil leaving the school, less any sums owing to the Trust or the school at that time; it is forfeited if the pupil does not take up the accepted place.

Optional Extra Activites

Instrumental Music, Singing, Speech and Drama, Fencing and Sailing are offered as

optional extra subjects. Fees to cover these subjects are set by the visiting teachers. School instruments may be hired when available. Accounts for extra activities will be sent direct by the teachers concerned, and should be settled with those teachers before the start of each term.
