 Application
for Entry to the Junior Department
Streatham and Clapham High
School welcomes applications from girls for entry to
the Junior Department at 4+ and 7+. From time to time
there are vacancies in other parts of the School and
it is possible to enter at all phases.
School Tours
These are held every month when
prospective parents are invited to visit the School.
There is an opportunity to meet the Head of Junior Department,
to be given a guided tour by existing Year 6 pupils
and see the School at work.
Application Form
Before a girl can be considered
for a place, the application form must be completed
and returned to the Admissions Secretary together with
a non-refundable deposit of £50. You will then
be contacted and arrangements made for your child to
be assessed in the Junior Department.

The Entrance Test
For the purpose of 4+ entry, girls
are assessed by the Foundation Stage Co-ordinator and
7+ entry by the Head of the Junior Department. If older
children apply for occasional places, the assessment
is commensurate with their age and potential.
Offers
Places are awarded by the Head
of Junior Department following a satisfactory result
in the entrance test.
Fee Information
The termly fee for the academic
year September 2008/2009 is £2879. Fees are payable
in advance either annually, termly or monthly by Direct
Debit. Fees cover tuition other than optional extra
subjects, pupils' accident insurance, all stationery,
text books. Fees do not include lunches. There is an
annual increase in fees in September.
A registration fee of £350 is
payable on acceptance of a place. This sum will be held
until the end of your daughter's final term in the school
and will be refunded within 12 weeks of her leaving,
less any sums owing to the Trust or School at that time.
School Uniform
All children are required to wear
School Uniform, and the uniform list is sent to all
new parents in the Induction Pack. School Uniform is
mainly supplied by:

sale each term.

school uniform for the Junior Department comprises:
- White crew-neck, long sleeved top
- V-necked pullover
- Green tunic/ summer dress
- Green purse belt
- White socks or white/ green thick
tights
- Blazer/ duffel coat
- Brown/ black shoes
PE uniform (compulsory):
- Two white Aertex shirts
- Dark green games skirt
- Dark green cycling shorts
- Maroon leotard
- Maroon tracksuit
- White trainers
- Maroon swimming costume
- Swimming hat in House colour
