to the Streatham and Clapham High School GDST website.
I am delighted
to be able to introduce our school to you and hope that
what you see will encourage you and your daughter to
visit us and eventually join us.
Choosing a
school is a crucial decision, whatever age your daughter
may be. I believe it is our duty and responsibility
to bring out the best in your daughter, be it her first
steps in reading and writing, performing in the school
play or taking her A Levels. I firmly believe that to
get the best out of our girls we have to encourage,
rather than pressurise and only then will they flourish.
Every girl has her own particular skills and talents:
we aim to develop the ones she knows she has and help
her find new ones.
We are a positive
school where girls and staff have an enthusiasm for
whatever it is they're doing, from the academic, to
sport, to the performing arts. Our staff enjoy teaching,
our pupils enjoy learning and I believe that this is
the key to a happy successful school.
