 The
Junior Department provides a high quality all-round education
for girls with good academic potential from the Foundation
Stage to the end of Key Stage Two. The highly qualified,
dedicated staff are fully conversant with all current
practices and policies in primary education and foster
a caring, respectful atmosphere where each child is encouraged
to develop to her full potential. Through careful, regular
monitoring and assessment, progress is encouraged with
differentiation inherent in the teaching.
The
school serves the local community and offers fantastic,
spacious facilities including a full-sized Sports Hall,
Science Room, Art Room and an Assembly Hall with full
stage. The large playground includes a Creative Play
Area where the children can be even more adventurous.
We encourage the girls in our care
to be independent, resourceful, responsible and caring
individuals who work together in a happy, friendly environment.
 As
well as following a set curriculum during lesson time,
the girls are given many opportunities to experience
diverse activities ranging from lunchtime Book Club
to after-school Football Club. Our Gym and Netball Squads
have celebrated many successes and our girls take part
in local and national Art, Music and Drama competitions.
