A hot lunch is provided every day at
the Junior Department. A vegetarian option is available
every day. Children who have adverse reactions to peanuts,
which needs the use of an Epipen, do not have school
meals.

 All
children have Registration with their form teacher and
three times a week then take part in an Assembly led
by a member of staff. Once a week the whole school meet
for Class Assemblies when parents are invited to watch
their children perform. At this Whole School Assembly
the Head awards an achievement badge to one member of
each KS1 form. A House Captain also collects a Certificate
for the Junior House with the greatest number of House
Points. The Head Girl announces which class has been
awarded the class cup for the week.
KS1
lessons are mainly taught by form teachers with specialist
e.g. Music, Drama,PE and Spanish lessons. The girls
experience a wide range of academic and aesthetic subjects
in line with the Foundation Stage, National Curriculum
and QCA Guidelines for Key Stage One.
KS2 lessons are taught by form teachers
with some specialist teaching e.g. French, Music, Drama
and PE. All Core and Foundation subjects are in line
with the National Curriculum and QCA Guidelines for
Key Stage Two.
Lunchtime and after school Clubs
are offered to children from year 1 upwards. These provide
opportunities for the girls to experience a range of
new activities and skills such as:
Dance
- ICT
- Gym
- Book Club
- Art
- Maths Games
- Orchestra
- Recorders
- Table Tennis
- LAMDA exams
The Junior Library is also available
for children to exchange books or read.
 An
After School Club is offered as an extra option to parents
who require a later collection time. This runs until
6pm each school day.
