"I love it here! There are so many opportunities
to do so many things. Each year I seem to have gone
from strength to strength.' Year
10 Student
We
believe in giving our students an education which extends
beyond the classroom. As a result we organise a huge
range of trips across the whole school throughout the
school year.
There are numerous opportunities to
visit theates, museums and art galleries, as well as
take part in field trips, Duke of Edinburgh excursions
and trips abroad.
Trips Abroad
The main event of the year is the annual
Year 7 trip to the Chateau de la Baudonniere, in Normandy,
France. Setting off in February, the girls have a week
of French lessons, French food, and outdoor activities,
also in French. This trip has been running for 9 years
and provides the girls with an excellent opportunity
and bonding with the rest of the year group.
Girls
have the opportunity to go on a Mediterranean cruise
with the RE department, are offered trips to Spain and
Germany. This year our GCSE Italian students are going
to Florence for a language, art and culture trip. Girls
are also currently preparing for a netball tournament
in Barbados.
Year 12 girls are going on a World
Challenge trip to Uganda and Kenya in the summer.
