Sydenham High School's attractive grounds set it apart from so many schools in urban areas, and offer an inviting environment for our girls to enjoy. The original Victorian mansion was built as the home of a diamond merchant, and the architectural grandeur of the day still shines through, indeed our panelled dining room was once the mansion's ballroom.

The eclectic mix of traditional and modern is very much a hallmark of the school. Well equipped for 21st century learning, the school is proud of its comprehensively resourced ICT suite and science facilities, a recently refurbished Art and Design Technology Centre and an excellent well stocked and expertly run library.

Our exciting new Performing Arts Complex, with its theatre, recital hall, music suite and recording studio opened early in 2007.

Extensive sports grounds in Lower Sydenham complement our excellent on-site pitches and gymnasium hall.
