Making a decision about which career path to follow is not always easy in the Sixth Form. Every support is given to girls to help them decide their future direction and to achieve their goals.

A well trained, well informed careers department offers a specific library of over 300 books with information on every possible career, degree course, gap year and summer job available. These are backed up by a bank of resources in the form of CDs, software, videos, prospectuses etc for the girls to continue their research at home. Girls are also able to access psychometric tests, mock interviews with subject experts and guidance on student financing.

Minerva and ISCO Membership
Sixth Formers automatically become members of the Minerva Network (the Girl’s Day School Trust alumnae and support group). Members can benefit from careers advice, mentoring and work placements in specific areas such as Medicine, Media, Financial Services and Engineering. Please see www.minerva.org.uk

Girls also benefit from membership of the ISCO (Independent Schools Careers Organisation) who offer effective workshops, talks and work experience throughout the Sixth Form.
