New Horizons Year 12 students follow an extensive programme called New Horizons, delivered by a mixture of internal and external speakers. It includes all types of topics relevant today, within the area of careers, current affairs, culture, moral and social issues, health and any other field in which the girls express an interest.
Community Service Students may choose to visit local pensioners at the Cheshire Home, undertake voluntary work at St Christopher’s Hospice or with local play schemes. Through our links with the Bromley Centre for Voluntary Service, students can also participate in a variety of community service projects.
Clubs and Activities There is opportunity to organise and run clubs during the lunch hour, particularly for the younger girls, as well as attending established clubs and activities including: Choir and Gospel Choir, Amnesty International, Debating, Science Club and ICT club.
Charity and Social Events Charity events are arranged within the school and with other Sixth Forms in the area. These have included the Crisis Christmas Revue, a fundraising quiz, volleyball and a three-legged football match! The May Ball for departing Year 13 students is also a much-anticipated annual event.
