Facilities

The Senior and Junior Departments share a central Wimbledon site, comprising original redbrick buildings and modern, purpose-built facilities.

The Rutherford Centre for the Performing Arts opened in 2007, and is widely used by the whole school. All students also enjoy use of the swimming pool and sports hall on site. Our playing fields - an all-weather pitch, netball and tennis courts and pavilion - are a short walk away in Nursery Road, the original site of the All England Tennis Championships.

ICT plays a key role in our teaching and learning, with computers, laptops and interactive whiteboards innovatively used. Our Design and Technology building is superbly equipped and students benefit from the use of a hi-tech language laboratory.

The Junior Department is housed in bright, airy accommodation with specialist rooms for Art, ICT and Science, a separate library and junior hall.

In the Senior Department, all subjects are taught in specialist rooms, grouped by faculty. The library is well-stocked and a peaceful, popular place of study.

Sixth Form House provides a separate environment for our older students and includes a computer suite with videoconferencing for distance learning.
