Another set of stunning results for Notting Hill and Ealing girls

The 2016 cohort of Leavers at Notting Hill & Ealing High School are celebrating a set of outstanding A Level results. Ninety percent of entries were awarded A*- B making 2016 another extremely successful year for NHEHS girls all of whom leave the school with three or more A Levels. Fifty five percent of girls have three or more A or A* grades.

Thirty two percent of entries were awarded the top A* grade (the national average is 8%) and 32% of girls achieved two or more A* grades and 12% had three or four A* grades.

There were lots of delighted hugs and tears at school this morning!

Head Lucinda Hunt said:

“I’m thrilled for all the girls who will be setting off to study the course of their dreams, so many of them at Oxbridge and Russell Group universities. I am also particularly proud of those girls who struggled at times in their school career, either academically or with difficult personal problems, but who worked so hard, listened to advice and made the most of everything we can offer them here, and are now all set for the next exciting phase in their lives.

Our leavers have been such a talented, hardworking, enthusiastic, funny and delightful year group. They will be very much missed and we wish each one of them every success and happiness in the future.”
