Promoting wellbeing in our schools

Children’s Mental Health Week, which takes place in February, aims to get children thinking about their mental health and how to look after it.

A survey by the GDST and Mumsnet last year found that three-quarters (73%) of parents would like their children to learn more about mental health and wellbeing at school.

At the GDST, wellbeing is a priority, and our schools support our girls to understand their own mental health and learn how to have a happy, healthy life.

We take a look at some of the ways our schools have promoted wellbeing so far this year.
