Celebrating the legacy for cycling created by the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 starts in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, then follows a 100-mile route on closed roads through the capital and into Surrey’s stunning countryside.
This year, we have 6 places available, riding for our Girls First Bursary Fund and aiming to collectively raise £3,000. The past 2 years have seen our riders collectively raise over £12,000 for GDST Bursaries.
The GDST believes all girls deserve the best possible start in life regardless of their family background; they’ll get this start with the outstanding education we provide, and that’s why the Bursary Fund is so important. These bursaries are life-changing for the girls and their families, each and every one enables potential to be fulfilled and dreams realised. Currently, the GDST supports over 1,000 pupils at our senior schools with a bursary and since 1997, we have helped over 4,500 girls through our bursary programme; 4,500 lives, transformed. Please visit our bursary campaign page to understand more about the impact we have on improving the chances of bright and talented girls.
