A Levels 2024 – Norwich High School for Girls celebrates outstanding 2024 A Level Results

It has been another incredible year for students at Norwich High School for Girls Sixth Form as they celebrate a wonderful set of exam results reflecting two years of hard work and determination

  • A quarter of all results achieved were A*s.
  • 80% of all results were A*to B, with 63% A*-A.

“The success of our students is a shared achievement. The support from our dedicated teachers, who have gone above and beyond to ensure each student reaches their full potential, has been instrumental in this year’s achievements.”

Alison Sefton, Head of Norwich High School for Girls GDST said: “These results are a testament to the incredible hard work our Class of 2024 students have shown throughout their A Level studies. They are full of potential and it will be very exciting to follow their next steps as they move on to higher education and the workplace. We continue to see a good number of our students reaching their offers for STEM subjects, pharmacy and medicine at university but are pleased to also see students going on to study languages, computer science, psychology, law, English and the arts. It is also of particular note this year that we have a student who has successfully secured a degree apprenticeship with Aviva.

“The success of our students is a shared achievement. The support from our dedicated teachers, who have gone above and beyond to ensure each student reaches their full potential, has been instrumental in this year’s achievements. Our teachers have consistently provided high-quality education, guidance and encouragement, helping our students to excel both academically and personally.

“Today is a day to celebrate their successes and look forward to the bright futures that lie ahead.”
