“Congratulations to our magnificent Class of 2024: we knew they were a talented year group, but they have exceeded even their own high expectations.”
Fionnuala Kennedy, Head of Wimbledon High School GDST, said:
“Congratulations to our magnificent Class of 2024: we knew they were a talented year group, but they have exceeded even their own high expectations. Their dedication to their studies is matched by their commitment to their co-curricular interests: international sportswomen in Amelie (a team GB hockey player), Maddie (a Team New Zealand gymnast) and Katie (heading to Cornell on a rowing scholarship); Oxbridge choral scholars in Estella, Alyssa and Phoebe.
“The young women we celebrate with today have given wholeheartedly to the school as student leaders and role models to their younger peers. We wish them all the very best and thank the teachers and pastoral tutors who have inspired and supported them. The even distribution of grades across all disciplines shows excellence across the board and I could not be prouder of our wonderful school.”
