Sixteen percent of Year 11s achieved 9 or more A*s in their GCSE results this year and the school has seen individual strength across a wide range of subjects including English, Maths and Sciences as well as the Arts, Humanities and Languages.

Ipswich High’s GCSE results have been steadily increasing since Head, Oona Carlin joined the school in 2013. She comments:

“I am thrilled that our students have achieved such fantastic GCSE results this year and I would like to congratulate the girls and staff on their hard work which has clearly paid off. Our academic results are an important measure of our success and confirm that the ‘girls only’ environment can certainly allow students to fulfil their potential and flourish.”
