Bowls and Bubbly evening for Howell’s alumni at the Lansdowne Club

On Friday 22nd January 2016 it was a pleasure to welcome more than 70 Howell’s alumni of all ages to London’s Lansdowne Club, particularly many of the school’s most recent leavers who are currently at university.  Set in the heart of Mayfair, the Lansdowne Club, with its fusion of 18th Century grandeur and elegant Art Deco, is one of the most exclusive and traditional private clubs in London, so it really was a treat to hold an event in such spectacular surroundings.

The evening included glasses of bubbly and bowls of delicious food. Guests were also treated to a magnificent performance from Robert Lindsay’s acapella singing group, All the King’s Men, (Howell’s Class of 2014 and Head Boy 2013-14) who are currently studying at King’s College London. Also in attendance, were Helen Fraser, Chief Executive of the GDST and Glen Fendley, GDST’s Head of Development. The event promises to become an annual event at Howell’s.
