Brighton and Hove Prep pupils raise over £5700 for the NSPCC

Pupils at Brighton Girls are celebrating after raising an incredible £5757.60 for the NSPCC. As part of the school’s pastoral programme, the pupils were lucky enough to have Sally Stubbs from the NSPCC, deliver the ‘Speak Out, Stay Safe’ programme.

This NSPCC funded programme supports specially trained volunteers to go into schools and talk about abuse and how the children can get help. The programme is age appropriate and well-resourced and the children benefitted tremendously from it. The girls were also very keen to give something back to support the charity.

So a group of the school’s staff took on the planning of a special ‘Challenge Day’ including several activities for Nursery – Year 6 pupils throughout the day which, due to the inclement weather, also included a challenging sprint in the rain around their AstroTurf pitch!

Well done to all of the pupils and staff involved.
