“These results are simply outstanding, with girls achieving excellent grades across all subjects. They have worked hard, inspired by brilliant teachers.

“Amongst some astounding department successes, Maths and English in particular stand out, with 82% achieving A* grades in Maths, and 86% A* grades in English Literature.

“I am most proud of the fact that our students fit so much else into their busy lives beyond studying. Whether in the realm of sport, music, drama, or even stand-up comedy, they give so much to the school. They will further enrich all of our lives as they move into the Sixth Form and ultimately take up leadership roles.

Congratulations girls – so well deserved.”
