Howell’s College students were awarded more A*s than ever this year

Howell’s College are Seeing Stars with their A-level results this year:
  • 52% A*-A
  • 80% A*-B
  • 25% of the year group achieved all As and A*s

This is a fantastic achievement for the students, particularly considering the new, more challenging, A-level specifications.

Principal, Sally Davis, said: “I could not be more proud of this year’s results. During their two years in the College these students have risen to the challenges presented to them and impressed everyone at Howell’s with their determination and dedication. I look forward to Prizegiving, when we will be able to congratulate them with their families before they embark upon their exciting new journeys.”

Howell’s is a Drapers’ School, one of 21 schools and colleges supported by The Drapers’ Company, one of the 12 Livery Companies of the City of London, thanks to Tudor merchant Thomas Howell, who died in 1537 and left his fortune in the trust of the Drapers’ Company. A number of students who show exceptional promise are awarded the Drapers’ Scholarship each year in recognition of academic achievement and potential.
