Outstanding GCSE results at Howell’s

Students at Howell’s School, Llandaff have achieved an outstanding set of results in this year’s GCSEs.

Principal Sally Davis said:

“Many of these girls were only 14 years old when we made the switch to Guided Home Learning in March 2020. Since then, they have weathered national lockdowns, periods of quarantine and online assessments in lieu of the summer exams. They have emerged as motivated and inspirational young women who are ready to embark upon the next stage of their education.

“These results are testament to their hard work—and to the dedication of their endlessly supportive teachers, who have been with them every step of the way, going above and beyond to make sure the girls achieved the grades they deserve.

“Year 11 should be very proud today; these truly are exceptional results in exceptional times.”
