Six GDST schools among Independent Schools of the Year finalists

Six schools from the GDST family have been announced as Independent Schools of the Year finalists 2021.

We are delighted to share that Norwich High School For Girls, Notting Hill & Ealing High School, Portsmouth High School, South Hampstead High School, Streatham & Clapham High School and Sutton High School have been selected as Independent Schools of the Year finalists from more than 700 nominations nationwide.

The awards programme, run by Independent School Parent magazine, aims to highlight the excellence of the student experience in independent schools.

GDST schools have been recognised for their outstanding efforts in the following award categories:

Norwich High School for Girls – Rising Star
Notting Hill & Ealing High School – Independent School of the Year for Sporting Achievement
Portsmouth High School – The Green Award for Environmental Achievement
South Hampstead High School – Independent School of the Year for Student Wellbeing
Streatham & Clapham High School – Independent School of the Year for Contribution to Social Mobility
Sutton High School – Independent School of the Year for Student Careers Programme

The winners of each category will be announced during the Independent Schools of the Year virtual awards ceremony to be held on Thursday 7 October.
