Wimbledon High celebrate A Level results after a uniquely challenging year

Wimbledon High School students celebrated an excellent set of A level results today and are now heading to an admirable range of university courses.

Fionnuala Kennedy, Head of Wimbledon High, said:

“We are enormously proud of the Class of 2021 and all of their achievements, these excellent results included. Their sixth form experience has been uniquely challenging and they have continued to learn, contribute and engage despite the most difficult of circumstances. Because of this tenacious approach, they are now headed to top-level universities here and abroad, including Oxbridge and the US, across a broad range of academic disciplines. As individuals and as a collective they are hugely impressive, reflected in these results, and we wish them every success, happiness and luck as they stride out into the next stage of their adventure. We are fortunate that the future lies in their hands.”

The courses range from Automotive Engineering to Oceanography, Chinese Studies to Music, Medicine to Sustainable Development and many in between.
