Kensington Prep School has won the Education Estates Innovation in Teaching and Learning Award
Kensington Prep School is thrilled to have won the Innovation in Teaching and Learning Award for its Creating Spaces for Growing Minds programme. Deputy Head Claire Raines, who led the team behind the transformation project, attended the Education Estates Awards Ceremony in Manchester. Judges praised the design of the school’s powerful new learning spaces, imaginative Explore Floor and spacious classroom breakout spaces.
Kensington Prep also received a commendation in the award category for pupil experience.
Entries for the awards included multi-million pound projects from large institutions including universities and colleges so Ken Prep made a particularly strong showing, winning against such stiff competition.
Claire Raines was also asked to lead a workshop at the Estates conference explaining the power and benefits of the Creating Spaces for Growing Minds programme with Nick Mirchandani, Director of ArchitecturePLB, the architects involved.
