At Sheffield Girls' we are proud to offer single-sex education for girls from primary school to secondary school education.

We offer

  • First-class teaching which develops every girl’s potential.
  • At GCSE, at least two-thirds of GCSE results are usually A*/A grades with just under 40% at A*. At least two-thirds of the year group usually achieves eight or more A*/A grades, with a substantial number of girls achieving 8 or more A* grades each. The A-level pass rate is typically 100% with over 75% of exam results at grades A* to B.
  • Seamless education for girls from 3-18 years – Pre-School, Infants, Juniors, Seniors and Sixth Form.
  • A single-sex environment which develops dynamic, confident and open-minded young women.
  • Very high standards of behaviour and a focus on consideration and respect for others.
  • A structured, caring community which caters for the needs of every individual.
  • Excellent facilities, including a new gym and Fitness Suite, an Astroturf pitch, an upgraded and extended science building, new additional art and ICT rooms, an extended and recently refurbished Sixth Form Centre, new Infant and Junior playgrounds and a new Cookery Room.
  • Almost 100 lunchtime and after school clubs which encourage excellence in sport, music, drama and art.
  • Before and after-school care for all ages.

The best way to catch the spirit of Sheffield Girls' is to come and visit. The Head is always happy to show parents around our school so they can experience first-hand the warmth and enthusiasm of our pupils and teachers.

Our girls will remember all the extra-curricular activities, the fantastic friendships they have made, the warmth and dedication of their teachers and the overall feeling of being part of a very happy, stimulating community.
