Put simply, GDST bursaries change lives.
They enable us to offer an outstanding education to girls who would otherwise be denied it. It means those girls can fulfil and even exceed their own expectations – and it means they can leave school ready to take on the world’s challenges and win.
"Receiving a bursary significantly affected my life - not just in terms of the great education I received but also in the opportunities I was given and the boost to my self-confidence.”
South Hampstead High School alumna
Currently, we support over 1,000 pupils at our senior schools with a bursary and since 1997, we have helped over 4,500 girls with a bursary; 4,500 lives transformed.
We can do this because of the wide range charitable gifts from our supporters, from alumnae to charitable trusts and companies. However, we want to increase this and that is why we have launched the Girls First Bursary Campaign, which aims to support an extra 52 girls every year with a 50% bursary.
Your gift to this campaign will make a difference. All donations, no matter how modest, added together can make a real impact to the school and its pupils – whether it is £10 a month or £1,000 a year.
Please consider making a donation to the Bursary Fund.
