Senior schools for girls

Why a GDST senior school?

The senior school years, also known as secondary school or high school, are for girls aged 11 to 16.

This stage in education is transformative for girls. It’s where inspiration, passion and drive are ignited and they can explore interests that help to shape their future well beyond their school years.

Schools designed for girls

In co-educational environments, girls at this age can dip in confidence and pull away from subjects they may have previously enjoyed if they are perceived as more male dominated areas. At GDST schools there are no such thing as boys subjects. Girls get 100% of the roles, they make up 100% of each classroom cohort, each team, each play and each celebration. For many girls it will be the only time that their surroundings are designed and focused with women in mind.

Our curricular and extra-curricular activities are focused on the empowerment and success of our students. Academic excellence is a given at GDST all girls’ senior schools, but we also strongly champion personal development, wellbeing and confidence.
