Bursaries at Oxford High School

Oxford High School has been educating brilliant, fearless and outspoken young women since 1875.

It is a place of scholarship and learning tempered by spirit, fun and community. Justifiably proud of its extraordinary academic outcomes, OHS is a place where young women are prepared for a world where they give back to others who have not had the same opportunities. A place where young women are prepared for the demands of the future, led by committed and dedicated staff absolutely devoted to their students’ wellbeing and achievement.

Oxford’s Bursary Programme

The school wants to educate the most exceptional pupils from Oxford and the surrounding areas, regardless of financial circumstances. Offering bursaries allows the school to do just that, focusing on supporting girls for whom the chance of a GDST education would be a transformative, life-changing opportunity.

There are 52 girls studying at OHS thanks to the support of a bursary. This equates to around 1-in-10 girls across the school. But there is a need to do much more.
