The Girls' Day School Trust was formally founded in 1872, under the patronage of HRH Princess Louise, Queen Victoria’s fourth daughter. Now, as then, the aim of the Trust is to treat the girls in its care as individuals, to bring out the best in them, and to encourage them to succeed.
The Alumnae Network was established in 1994 to encourage former pupils of our schools to stay in touch with their alma maters and friends, but also to form and maintain bonds of mutual support. It now comprises over 50,000 active members throughout the UK and overseas.
