Partnerships

Our schools and their partnerships

Our individual schools have many links with their local communities and with schools in the maintained sector. Many of them also have long-standing relationships with local charities and businesses providing bursary and scholarship support.

Please visit individual GDST school websites to find out more about all these links and partnerships.

Trust-wide partnerships

The GDST has partnerships with several organisations that bring benefits to schools and pupils right across our network:

HSBC

Our long-standing relationship with HSBC takes several forms:

  • the HSBC Scholarship Programme provides life-changing bursary funding for girls entering the GDST from maintained schools and we are very grateful for HSBC’s generosity
  • HSBC also co-sponsored The Belvedere Academy and is an active and valuable participant on our Academy Trust Board

HSBC has set out a series of commitments to contribute to the global transition to a low-carbon economy as well as pledging long-term support to help people acquire the skills and knowledge needed to thrive in the future economy. And through partnerships with customers, NGOs and other key stakeholders, they are encouraging responsible business in global supply chains.
