A level students at Howell’s School, Llandaff GDST achieve outstanding results

A level students at Howell’s School, Llandaff GDST have achieved an outstanding set of results, with 34% of all grades awarded being A* and 69% A*/A.

STEM subjects were as strong as ever this year. Chemistry had an impressive 95% A*/A, Mathematics and Biology 87% A*/A, and Physics 82% A*/A. These outstanding results will enable this year’s cohort of scientists to take up places to study courses in such diverse subjects as Aerospace Engineering, Applied Medical Science, Astronomy and Physics, Biomedical Engineering, Medicine, Mathematics and Philosophy, Neuroscience and Veterinary Medicine.  But the Art subjects had outstanding results as well with the College overall exceeding the 2019 pre-Covid results.

As the Class of 2023 prepare for new adventures, heading for destinations that include the University of Oxford, University College London, University of Edinburgh, Imperial College London, Durham University, University of St Andrews and King’s College London, Principal Sally Davis, commented, “I can only applaud Year 13 for these stunning results.
