Congratulations to all Year 11 students at Portsmouth High School
Pupils at Portsmouth High School GDST were celebrating yesterday after receiving their GCSE results; half of all grades were above A or equivalent.
‘I have been so impressed with this year’s cohort,’ said Headmistress, Mrs Jane Prescott. ‘They have worked hard and achieved good results and are enjoying everything today brings. We look forward to welcoming the pupils back for an exciting two years in the Sixth Form.’
Mrs Julie Parkinson, Head of Year 11, added:
‘What an extraordinary year group and I am delighted for them. Today is just a stepping stone to the next stage and we look forward to welcoming them back into Sixth Form next month.’
