Putney High School has become a hub school for children of key workers. Since guided home learning began on Monday 23 March, Putney High’s doors have remained open for pupils with key worker parents, and also for children of key workers from other local GDST schools. Pupils from Kensington Prep School and younger girls from Putney and Wimbledon High Schools are attending school at Putney High on a daily basis so that their parents can continue in their essential roles. The girls have been greeted each morning by an enthusiastic rotating team of around 17 volunteer teachers and kitchen staff.

Older pupils have been following their timetabled day of guided home learning and enjoying activity sessions from 1-2pm each day, including fitness, tennis, Air track fun, volleyball and badminton. Junior girls have been enjoying fitness sessions with a whole team of PE Staff and numerous other activities throughout the day including Cosmic Yoga.
