From all of the wonderful events and initiatives (too many to cover them all here), to some very impressive awards & prizes, and, of course, our annual Junior Christmas Card competition – we are so proud of our students, teachers and support staff. So here’s our GDST Round Up of what happened at our nurseries and prep schools during Autumn 2023.

Sustainable Initiatives and Successes

Earlier this year, over 150 Y6 pupils from 22 GDST schools completed a Changing Climates Curriculum – a GDST-wide eco project piloted to great success. In November 2023 – to mark COP28 – we published our GDST We Are One film

Portsmouth High School won two sustainability awards with EduCCate Global. Five members of staff have completed training equipping them with further sustainability-related skills and knowledge to apply through the curriculum. The EduCCate Global Bronze Award makes the school a centre of excellence for sustainability and climate literacy.
